Learning new skills, or toning existing ones, is an import part of life for everyone here at SomeBrightSpark. It’s actively encouraged. Learning. Sharing. Improving.
I spent last weekend on a wildlife photography course at a wolf reserve in rural Northamptonshire. For someone that is afraid of even the smallest of dogs, I considered this far from the safety of my comfort zone. Learning from a world renowned nature photographer, I was able to get up close to a number of these beautiful creatures. After an apprehensive first hour, I was able to relax and pick up some new photography skills. I won’t bore you with the technical details, but I now have a new appreciation for histograms!
I think I got a few good shots and managed to escape without being eaten. Which was nice.
