Despite the massive impact that the COVID-19 epidemic is having, business leaders still need to deliver key strategic messages to their teams around the world. This was the issue facing multinational consumer health, hygiene and nutrition group RB with a global conference in the Far East for 500 senior executives.

Whilst managing the cancellation and rescheduling of the conference to a new location and new dates, we were asked to help create a virtual conference with only a few weeks’ notice.

The brief was to secure and manage the location, work with the client’s existing webcast supplier, Intrado, and manage the end-to-end production and design process.

160 delegates attended the event on the day, which was held at the excellent Institution of Engineering and Technology in London. Hundreds more joined and interacted remotely from around the world, via the cloud-based presentation platform.

Following the event, we produced a series of videos containing the key business messages to further reinforce the content takeaways, and for those who were unable to attend in person or online. The positive impact of the event meant that the business has maintained important momentum in a time of an international crisis.

Such was the success of the project, we are now in discussion about creating a platform for the delivery of regular strategy updates to the global audience.
